Many thanks for the reply...I really want 15 inch K-130-4 J B L....I am trying to reproduce the sound of my Webb amplifier using a different amp system, and I think the J B L,S play a big part in that sound...Sorry I missed your last meeting...maybe next year.......cheers Ivor G

Hi Basil...Nice to hear from you...I am trying to duplicate the sound of a Webb amp and I want to use the same speakers as it has...I bet you if you played your vintage Fender thru the Webb IT would sound superb...I thought you would have been at the Irish festival...You sure missed a great weekend....organizers came up with another good one...keep well mant thanks IVOR G

maybe one for basil? hopefully relevant to this post, i know if you run two 8 ohm speaker cabs, it equals 4 ohms, but say for example, you ran the 15 ohm speaker in a cab, and you also ran the 8 ohm speaker in a cab, what ohmage [did i spell that right] are you running at? 12 ohms? and would that make the amp [whether 4 or 8 ohms] very inefficient, ie lacking power? and out of interest, Ivor, do you plan to run two 4 ohm cabs, that will run the amp at 2 ohms i believe, is that recommended for either peavey or fender??????? especially a valve fender?????? i was always under the impression that you can go above the amps reccommended ohmage, but definately not below, especially with a valve amp
