Hi Crowbear,
Looks a great guitar but I was looking for something a little less expensive, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Hi Crowbear,
I am a twin neck player E9 and C6 looking for a reasonable price E9/B6 12 string Uni just to see if I can get on with that tuning, I had one a few years back which I quite enjoyed but did not have the time available at that point in my life to induldge myself. There are no real budget restriction but having said that I do not want to spend a fortune on a guitar that may be a non-keeper, sounds a bit of a contradiction but I feel sure that you will see where I am coming from. Thanks for the links that you sent me.
Regards
Richard

Still looking, drop me a line if you decide to sell either now or in the future.

One thing to be aware of when choosing a 12 string is that some models have a closer string spacing (at the changer) than the usual 11/32"

Tip: put an extra pedal on it (5 + 8) and you have the same setup as a twin neck, except the D-string for E9 (is made by knee lever).
That is very easy reading tablature and won't give any problem with getting used to an Universal.

I have recently acquired a GFI universal With Pad as a PX , and IMHO it is one of the best made universal I have played built like a tank sounds awesome AND LIGHT the only fault I could find was some of the brass ferrule allen screws had been rounded by the previous owner using a bad fitting Allen key, no problem now I just used a Torx rench and have now managed to undo the ones that were giving problems.
It may be up for sale for £1000,the previous owner told me he paid £1500 last year from Jerry ,it is in very good condition mechanically and to me it looks great.
Here it is,and it really is a nice steel.

Have a look at Baz's recent post too - Bennett SD12 on eBay, with provenance. It didn't reach asking price, so it might still be up for sale.
