Starter Steel Wanted Poss PX Double Bass?

I'm looking for a (Relatively) inexpensive way into Pedal Steel after years of Lap/Dobro/Weissenborn playing. I Have an all solid wood, carved back Bass which I am going to be selling soon and thought an exchange/PX might be of interest to somebody. All suggestions are welcome.

I bought a british made single 10 string, by cliff white, two years ago. It has been and excellent starter guitar, and I've done a little bit of work on it to make it nearer perfect.
Im considering upgrading to an SD10, and would be selling this one for about £450-£500. or there abouts. Thats what I paid for it!

Sounds great. Where in the country are you? The Bass is sold now (Hopefully) so i'm itching to get something. Who made the Steel?

I'm in Essex, just outside Basildon. I'm not after the Bass, so it would just be a straight purchase?
It's made by cliff white, and is,I think, one of the better examples! very solid, very stable instrument. He was from west yorkshire I think. (someone on here will correct me no doubt...)
