Knee lever bolt for MSA Classic

Tue Dec 10, 2024 12:08 pm

The knee levers on my MSA are attached using machine screws that run through the lever and the bracket either side, like this:

The nuts sometimes fall off and now I've lost one. I don't suppose there's a source of spares? Are they a standard size?

Not knowing the bolt size, and taking a guess, it looks like a 2BA. and the locking nut insert has perished, hence falling off.
These are available from any R/C model shop (R/C helicopters-cars etc.), which is where I buy my spares.
Or buy on-line., see link.
I'd suggest It would be best to replace both Nut & Bolt, as they're not very expensive. ;)

Thanks Jim. I definitely need to lay in some spares. I'll take one along to a shop and see if they can help out.
