This is one pretty little steel it is the model Fender produced using the Shobud undercarriage, Guitar is "as new" has been in its case since the 1970's

I got one of the D10s. I've said before that one of the best features is that the changer pivots on a knife edge and not a rod. This cannot flex, produces no friction, and doesn't damp out any vibrations. Quirky Fender ashtray head, but it's all ShoBud underneath; so no weird parts to find, if ever needed.

John, that model was called the "Artist " Series by Fender. It was available in 3 formats ,,,,, S10 Student Model 3 x 1
S10 "Artist Pro" 3 x 4, and finally "Artist Dual 10" D10 8 x 4 Available in Black and Mahogany Lacquer.
Sho-Bud built 4000 guitars for Fender between 1976 and 1977, When the contract came to an end, Sho-Bud used the
undercarriage design of the Fender for their new model .... The Sho-Bud "Super-Pro"

Yes Ted it is a little beauty, but its no longer here at the moment, its gone down south to the southern depot and will not be returning for quite some time Will keep you posted........
