Vintage Fender Twin Reverb with JBL Speakers

Am putting away my picks and steel after 55 years of playing so have decided to sell my Fender Twin Reverb amplifier.

Recently completely overhauled and tested by amplifier technician. In full working condition - reverb and tremelo. A great sounding amplifier. Will be sorry to part with it but it will be wrong to store it away never to be used again. Kept it for the grandchildren but they do not show any signs of musical interest!

The amplifier is a Fender Twin Reverb with JBL speakers. The serial number suggests that it is of 1974 vintage. I bought it new back in the '70's and have looked after it ever since. I loved the tone of the amp so much that I regularly changed the valves every 6 months! The cabinet is in very good condition as the protective plastic cover (which shows signs of use) looked after it. I am asking £960 for this superb and much loved amplifier.

I can always send additional photographs that I have of the amplifier should you wish.

Come along with your guitar and try out the amplifier. I live in Oxfordshire.

Dear Albert,
Many thanks for your interest in my Fender amplifier. It is a great amplifier even better now that I have recently had it overhauled. However I fully understand. The cost that it would be to ship the amplifier to Northern Ireland must be quite high. The amplifier is quite heavy. I have difficulty in lifting it now - it is either me getting weaker in my old age or the amplifier getting heavier!!
