I have reluctantly decided to sell my Marlen.

It was a basket-case D 10 with no knee levers when I bought it, now it is a 3 pedal 4 knee lever E9 with a padded rear neck, with a George L E66 pickup.

It looks decidedly 'ropy' underneath, as I have used my engineering skills to make it function like a dream, rather than just polishing everything.

It has 8 screw holes in the front apron, all I can imagine is that a previous owner had a music stand attached using these holes.

The pictures will tell the story better than I can, the steel looks extremely 'Heath Robinson', but never judge a book by its cover, that's why I'm looking for £900 for it :D

Pictures to follow, when I can remember how to do it, in the meantime here's a couple of Youtube vidoes of me playing it :D

You can see the screw holes in the apron, and the general 'road wear' in these pics
