I spotted that late last night!

Aberdeen isn't that far from anywhere in the UK and you could always make a weekend of going to get it!

Which, in my opinion, would be a much more realistic price than the 2k asking price, not that far from anywhere in the U.K. ? Im not so sure the good folk in the sarth of England would agree ! i was up there recently, and seemed to take forever and a day travelling back down,

Careful research is always key. Maybe someone will get carried away on eBay!

I come from London and my parents live on the south coast! Mind you, my wife & I both drive so that makes doing the 500 miles down there a lot easier.

LDG's do tend to hold their value. In the States the go very quickly when they come up on the USA forum. I sold an LDG a couple of years ago for £1100, but expect to pay closer to £2K when one is in absolute mint condition.

The steel guitar market is a strange place. You can pay very little money for older MSA guitars (which don't hold their value) yet MSA Millenniums hold their value really well. Emmons push pulls can actually appreciate in value if they are of the most sought after model. Sho~Buds are good value for money generally, but you do have to replace worn parts as the get older.

Zums seem to hold their value really well, whereas Carters and ZB's not quite so.

Intriguing actually that some guitars that play well and have good tone can be picked up for competative prices just because they are not so fashionable as others...... :?

Sometimes people buy musical instruments with their eyes and not their ears!
