For sale: As new JHS 'Plugin 1967 California' fuzz stomp box. £95 + £5 p&p
This is a Jordan Boss Tone replica done as a metal floor pedal instead of plug-in plastic box. I was excited to try this so I bought it new last week for £118. It makes an excellent fuzz pedal for pedal steel (a la Neil Flanz) but it's not going to replace my original Boss Tone. It doesn't do the old 'Nashville string section' immitation as well and it's a little more aggressive and mid-rangey for me. It does have the advantage of a mode button that gives you quite a different fuzz sound, so kind of two-for-one, and the volume and attack knobs are a lot better than the original. I will put it on Reverb eventually but thought I would offer it to forum members first. ~ Jonathan
