Hi all,

Any interest in this beautiful old lap steel? It's a Fender Stringmaster D8 from 1961, all original to my knowledge and with original case and legs (case visible in second photo). 24.5" scale. In good working condition - obviously shows some wear as you'd expect from an instrument of this age, but it's pretty clean and plays very well and sounds excellent. I can take more photos to show condition in more detail. It's missing the pickup switch tip in the photos, but I do have this.

Only minor issue is a crackly pickup selector switch - sometimes you need to fiddle with it a bit to get a clear signal. Not an issue if just playing at home, and I thought it was better to leave it original then start swapping parts out.

Asking for £1,500. Collection only for now from London SW8. You're welcome to come and try it out!
