Listed on Ebay as a "photo Seat", looks like it would be ideal for pedal steel,it has also a compartment for strings & things.
Worth a look, item number 130411547348 (in the Fender amp section)
All the best

Just down the road from me. Doesn't give the dimensions unfortunately, so it might be a gamble for use with a pedal steel. I'm not sure if it is actually made by Fender, or if someone is making these as a sideline.
Certainly novel.

A Steel Playing Mate of mine bought one of these from a music shop, the item was'nt exactly for sale, the shop was using it as a seat for guitar players to use whilst trying out regular guitars.
My Mate took a fancy to it and made an offer and got it.I cannot remember what He paid.
I only saw it when He opened the boot of his car to show it off,I assume He is using it whilst playing steel.
If anyone is interested I can phone and ask the dimensions.

Fender put these seats out
these were mentioned on the mother ship a few years back
there was tweed version as well
don't recall any particular success among steelers but heck, i sit on a barstool......

Anyone got a picture of the tweed version? My amp is finished in tweed as are my split cases for my Emmons Push Pull.
Can you get the dimensions Billy (in inches please - I only recognise sizes in old money!)
Incidentally, that shape of the seat is ideal for those who suffer from hemorrhoids.

Just checked the Fender web site. the measurements are 13" long x 13" wide x 19" tall, 22 lbs. Not high enough - pity.
