I am planning to sell a Webb Amplifier that belonged to my father.

Before I post photos and details etc. I wondered how many people would be interested before I advertise, I may list on eBay but am unsure how many steel guitar players would be checking eBay UK for Webb Amps!

Well I know eBay may not be the obvious place for steel players to be looking for a Webb in the UK, with sellers fees and everything I wanted to make sure I was advertising in the right place, to see if there was much interest in the amp. I will get some photos and specs and update the post as soon as I can.

On May 20th a Mr.Smith advertised a Webb amp for sale here on this Forum. I have always fancied one, so I responded to his advert asking for photo's of the amp. A couple of weeks later he sent me the requested photo's. I then got back to him saying Im really interested, how much did he want for the amp, that's the last I heard from him. Does anyone know if the amp was sold? or know Mr.Smith? In the meantime I will keep on looking.

I asked him as soon as I saw the listing. Rung around a few people who own Webbs to give me some advice. He eventually sent me photos and he stated he needed to do research on the value but after asking what he wanted he never got back to me.

Best place for these questions is as replies to the original "For Sale" topic, so, topics merged!
