I did suggest to some there was a nice one coming along .. well ... I hope you think so!

This was Mr Huntleys

It has already had some changes in colour and setup over it's lifetime but when stripped the colour was not dissimilar to the finish now so that was the route I took, In it’s last form it was a solid green/blue and plank with single inlay it can be seen on the Huntley page here http://www.pedalsteel.co.uk/gordon-huntley-the-uk with our very own Mr Bloomfield playing it. I got the guitar from Frank a year and a half ago and have been working on it (on and off) for quite a time.......... End of saga!

The finish is as you see, the undercarriage pedal setup has the original cross-shafts but the pull rod brackets are made so that everything pulls straight from the changer (same as I did on Steve Broach's guitar a time back) the levers now have a two hole bellcrank giving them more definition. At all points pivitol. ie. The allen screw cross-shaft points and lever axle ends are all on bearings as are all the pedal pull brackets, 2nd picture shows a back rail under the apron carrying the lever stops, now a more defined stop! ... By the time I got to taking pictures it was too dark to get underside shots but I can do that yet!

NB. The fretboards are not stuck down that is the last thing I do to avoid damage hence the little upturn on the front board on these pics they are just laid on.

The guitar is setup Huntley and is 8 x 5…. As I am off out the country in a couple of days I wanted this in the for sale section hence putting it in tonight.

Hope that all makes sense.

As for the price .…. strictly by pm and sensible prices only.

This PSG represents part of our UK steel history and for me represents many long nights! ….
The guitar is not going on ebay under any circumstances!
