Hi Alan
Glad you have fitted all the parts into the jigsaw. I just felt that the guitar had a number of cosmetic issues on top of the removed C6 components not to make it worth my while buying it. I found Mike to be an engaging sort of a guy who had bought the guitar in good faith, but had been given a sub-standard quality instrument by the manufacturer (I would not have found that neck casting to be anywhere near acceptable) and later been co-erced into getting the guitar stripped down to make it 'easier to play' by Eric.
One of the pickups had exposed coils to the elements around the edge, the pedal bar was badly scratched and generally it looked as though it had not been well looked after. Its great that you have worked on it and that you are a happy bunny. Certainly there aren't too many LGIII guitars in the UK, but spares are readily available should you need them. At least it will be played and appreciated by someone now, rather than be tucked away in a case somewhere and never seeing the light of day.
