I wish I had.
Lovely piece of kit.
Do you think the benefit people would take pity on an OAP and buy it for me ?

How light is it Bob?

Hi Matt, I've decided to do these now as a split case set-up as the combined instrument weight wasn't achieving as much weight saving as I was looking for so I can't answer just yet on the guitar case but I reckon a 6 kilo max. (The one in the picture was just under 7 kilos) but it will now be made smaller all round for the guitar only! I can tell you the rack and leg ones are 2 kilos as I'm just finishing them, these are 'no frills' jobs, the more you put in the heavier they get, eg. the two corner wheels weigh ½kilo.

If it's 6 kilos i'm interested. Keep me posted.

Hi Bob,
Can you tell me how you load your PSG into the case is it fed through the end as I cannot see a hinged lid?

Will let you know Matt as soon as I have the finished article, this has been another manic week, we have an old relative who has passed away and we are making the arrangements, not easy when she lived in Central Scotland and wished to be buried in he family town of Buckie on the north coast! For the same reasons Stewart I'll get back as soon as I can, yes Richard it slides in from the end, the ones I've done already have had a tray or drawer for the guitar which pulls out quite successfully, I am still working on that part as that is where the additional weight comes in and I'm trying to minimise it! The case is formed from a single panel folded and losing the large lid angles, hinges and catches is where I am gaining the savings! the panel is a sandwich of plastic skinned either side with alloy, this material is used for sign and wall boards. the protection comes I guess between using a cloth case and a flight case. I used one for a while on a little Magnum D10 I had and it did the job very well.
