Fender, sale or swap.with extras.

The steel, amp, amp stand and case could be up for sale or exchange. Too many years on a 10 string, I'm am not fairing well on this eight string, she sounds great, but a little more work is needed to finish her off. The legs are not original so I had to make some fittings to stop the pedal bar rising. The last person to have her took the original leg's off and made it into a stand up job, and mislaid the legs, I also had a new under plate made and fitted new return spring's. Just need's another cable and equlizer, but it's wearing me down trying to get this back to original state, it must be a getting too old thing. Think I'll go back to a single 10, three and four, and that will do me till I've had enough, which is'nt too far away.

I know we haven't always seen eye to eye in the past, but don't think of giving up playing, keep playing till they have to put you and the steel into the box...special 'tall boy' to cover the height of the legs. You sound great when you put things out there.

Hi Quen, just putting out feelers at the mo, idealy I would like a swap with all the items I have to offer for a single neck 3x4 but I have not finished working on it yet, needs a couple of items. If I get no joy on a swap then I will sell as is for £500.00 without the amp and stand.

A very apt tune for the video Slim, sounded really great! I have one that I started on a couple of years back and it is still an ongoing project otherwise it would be a sore temptation it looks great! I may be able to help on that additional cable btw!

Dear old Jerry West played one of these guitars for many, many years. He played it through an old Fender 40w valve amp and a Fender Vol/Tone pedal, and the sound filled most rooms - big or small. God bless him.

Remember it well Ken, I was out front waching him play and could see something bobbing up and down underneath, enquiring after the show I found out it was a length of bailing wire hooked up as a puller, we had a good laugh about it, then after the gig I was loading up and he loaded his gear into the taxie cab he drove and put up the flag, said that he may as well pick a fare up on the way home,brilliant.

It was Darcy, unfortunatly the seller omitted some of the parts that were missing, another lesson learned.
