Abbott lap steel

[bazzrd9th]

Hi Guys
I'm selling for a friend of mine, a 6 string 1940's English Abbott lap steel. Works fine, solid mahoganny, and apart from two relatively modern pots and a modern jack socket,, (I have one original pot) is in great original condition. Has original case, though it's missing it's interior. It has foam and fur type cloth inside which keeps it secure. Lock and latches work fine. He is asking £325 for it, and considering modern lap steels that cost as much, I think this is a cracker.
I've attached some pics.
