sho bud

Postby mustang » Thu Feb 16, 2012 5:31 pm

Well, I fancied my chances bidding for the sho bud pro on ebay. Went for £731. Outbid. Mind you i had to factor in a 9 hour round trip's worth of diesel - but I would have done it at the right price. A nice looking steel and would have been a step up in quality for me.
Wasn't to be.

If anyone is thinking of selling a single steel - E9 Nashville tuning please drop me a line (preferably emmons pedal set up). I could spend up to £750 if it's the right guitar.

I'm keeping an eye on the wanted and for sale section regularly.

Many thanks.

IMHO you did well to miss it at that price!! you have to reckon on £100 each to get knee levers fitted and it really needed another 3 of`em plus the mechanism would be limited on that model..... my advice get some help before you dive in :)

Thanks for that advice. I was a good way off that price to be honest and had taken into consideration additional work. I've read about the rack and barrel mechanism as well. Seemed like mixed opinions there. Appreciate your views. I'm certainly being cautious about buying a guitar. It can be a bit tricky cant it? Especially buying 'blind' so to speak. I'll get what I'm after eventually. Cheers. Martyn
