ZB CUSTOM STUDENT MODEL on E-BAY

Hi, ZB experts.

There is a ZB Student Custom on e-bay, priced £525.00
Blue top, 3 pedals 2 knee levers + case.
I am not looking to buy, but after some advice should i wish to sell my ZB same spec but 4 knee levers. serial no, S186, going from a fading memory. Good condition, sounds great, have sat at other well known brands, and not tempted to upgrade.
Sorry if this is not the right place to do this.
Did think i should contact some of your ZB minded members. (John Davis, Ken Brying) off the top of my head.
So is this a ballpark price, should i wait and see what it sells for, or is the starting price a realistic figure.
Due to a nasty accident to my right leg, (2008) and the untimely death of the other half of a duo i played in, the guitar has only been out of its case twice since.
I am 80 yrs old now and can hardly pick it up, let alone pick it up and cart it to gigs.Yep still gigging, mainly ukulele/lap steel.
if I sell it, i would prefer to sell it through British Steelies, so that commissions etc, could be avoided, and the buyer could get good advice about it.
Your thoughts would be very welcome.

Hi John.
The ZB student ranks as one of the best pedal steels for tone in my opinion. It is probably due to the aluminium frame picking up the vibrations from the pulls on the end of the guitar. A 3 + 4 guitar would be far more desirable than one with 2 levers. As to its value, its worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it.

John, I.M.H.O. in todays market It is worth the price even though as Kes says two levers are limiting but for a starter guitar perfectly ok.

Hi John. I have also seen the ad on ebay. but the zb on offer has only 4 knee levers. At the moment I have an ad on gumtree asking if anyone has a 10 string 3pedal 4 lever for sale , which is not to far away from Devon. I think you live in Warwickshire. which is about 160miles from me. If you do decide to sell I might be interested once you have decided on a price. My details are on my gumtree ad. I used to play in bands playing guitar and steel, but had to sell my Sho-Bud due to various circumstances and have always regretted it. I am now ready to purchase again. If anyone else has a steel for sale please let me know. I spoke to John Davis last week on the phone and he was a great help . Unfortunately St Neots is miles away from me. as is most places.
