I'm the proud owner of the blue one. It has definitely given me more bottom end growl and top end clarity, as well as a nice volume boost.
The thing that's great is that it doesn't need wires dangling everywhere like some boosters do. Straight into the jack you're away.

Bargain for 25 quid.

Dave, this is my version, very similar to yours with similar gain but with a Fender Grease Bucket tone circuit added, just a 500k lin pot and a 10 nan cap and a 22 nan cap. It's really handy having the tone at your finger tips. Just thought you might be interested. Cheers.

Many thanks for your reply and inclusion of your photos.It looks a great little unit and well made too.
I have a couple more buffers I made .The one on the right is made from a boiled sweet tin !!!
One has a toggle switch to turn on an extra cap.this gives a 6db boost in the higher frequencies.
The other has a 50 k pot wired as a variable resistor to give a variable tone cut/boost
Both are very effective in terms of buffering,boost and tone range.
The variiable one I have gig with and thro my Laney Lionheart 20 combo sounds super.

I must confess that pictures of my 2 units don't do them justice cosmetically.The light looks as though one is scratched and a dent in the other ...not the case lol !!
