My latest Toy ZB S10 Student model in Blue

This one came to me with a flappy fretboard and a "Floating" pick up, one pedal type knee lever and suffering from severe neglect.
I have made two knee levers for it that lower and raise the E's more than enough for a newbie and it is a delight to play now.
it has a good strong case and for 700 quid it will come with a tone bar and a Goodrich foot volume pedal...... and yes a spare set of strings (though it has just been restrung! )

That was nice playing John and that would be a lovely guitar for someone.
I would like to try a PSG now that I have permission to spend the kids inheritance! But being left handed it's a bit tricky finding a 'lefty'.
I would rather spend something on a quality instrument than want to upgrade later.

Baz I can name at least 2 "Lefties" that play right handed and not too shabby either and what I am offering here is worth its money all day long so you could try a cheapy that plays well for a small investment and sell when you want to upgrade and for sure this will not be here for very long (Watch this space!)
IMHO there are only two old'y student models that are worth having that is the Emmons Black rock and the ZB student both having a "Pro" Mech.

This steel would be very easy to convert to a lefty.I once converted one back to a righty,that had been set up as a lefty.

Yes I have read about how a lot of lefties play right handed, believe me I've tried playing 'righty' but at 76 I am too wired as a lefty to change now!

This will probably be my last 'roll of the dice' so to speak, so I would like to get a pro type model and blow all the money before the final curtain!

Mr Davis, I just have to pick you up on one little point,the Emmons Black Rock is or never was a student model, it was marketed as the entry level of the Pro range. And a bloody good guitar it is, I played one for over 30 years and it was tone to the bone, in fact I still have it and one of these days I hope to have it on the road again.
The only thing that will separate us will be my demise.

I’ll add myself to the lefties. I am left handed but play steel and guitar right handed. Always made perfect sense to me.

No offense taken or intended Willie but I will stick to my guns re The Black Rock Its a student guitar built to pro standard where the Mechanism is concerned, I love them to bits Just put three more knee levers on Stewart Johnson's and it plays great but there is you must admit more than a slight diff in the build of a "Pro" Emmons???
