1950 Rickenbacker D16 non pedal / lap steel

Anybody fancy a piece of history?

I have a 1950 Rickenbacker D16 for sale, 2 x 8 string necks and the original case

everything works as it should pickups are strong tuners good, even the tuner covers are still there. a few age related scuffs well it is 68yrs old. it has that old sound everyone wants.
A real rare beast this one.

I also have a period stand that needs a little TLC but works fine , these stands are harder to find than the steels are as I'm sure you know.

Only selling to help fund a telecaster purchase, I still have my Fender T3 which is all I ever use steel wise anyway

I am looking for around £1000 or there about's make me an offer, come and have a play with it if you like I am in Andover Hampshire

You MAY have a better chance of selling it if you spelled Rickekbacker correctly in the title on eBay, and also added Rickenbacher in brackets, as that's the spelling that most enthusiasts would use when searching.
