John, You are quite right it is a leffty custom Maverick. The whole undercarriage has been replaced with Ronnie Bennett
pulling train and the changer now has an all pull system.Also from Ronnie but it still has the original mounting.
Sho-Bud never made to my knowledge a left handed Gumby headstock, but this one does have the roller nut.

Hi Richard, it is a Maverick and you are correct the early Mavericks were lacquer and the later were plastic covered all had a very simple pull train, but the earlier Pro 1 had the same wrap around neck and had the Wrack and Barrel pull system, I had one many years ago I think I got it from Slim.
Look at the Bud John Roach has for sale the same as I had wrap around neck wrack and barrel very nice .
