Steel arrived the other day set up was all over the place pedals were removed from the rack, and the bright Red pad on the back of a green guitar just did not look right so, now it is back together with nice Green pad and though I have not even changed the strings yet here is a little toon I tried to play on it....

There were some lovely licks in your demo, John.
I know you think there isn't much you can teach anyone but you're wrong and a video talking us through that tune would be great

Great sound off the Sho Bud John. I would like to make comment on your personal appearance in the video, the white shirt looked newly crisp and starched, had you just come in from church ? were just about to go out to your job as a lollipop man ? . Very swish. Donny.

Donny the truth is stranger than fiction, Tesco had a sale on of shirts and it was cheaper to buy them all than to pay my ironing lady .......

You're right there John.
One approach I use is to learn little licks and phrases that I like and the find ways to put them together in different combinations like a Lego set.
Also, I try to copy stuff from the masters and invariably end up mangling or simplifying it a bit and sometimes end up with something of my own.

Hi JD. Had a go at this and enjoyed the experience. Can't sus out all the moves but did a good job by my standard. Look forward to the video to fill in the gaps. Kind Regards, H.
