If it sounds to good to be true ..... It is. This advert has appeared in Craiglist some years ago. I think Malcolm Mc Master
followed it up. SCAM ... Same guitar ... Same photos.

Yep Ted, a definite scam, this advert appears every so often on various sites, same pic, which I believe was lifted from a genuine ad on the American forum some years ago. I believe this scam has been pointed out to the Craigslist people many times, but they seem to do nothing about it.Moral of story --Don't use Craigslist !!!! --- if it seems too good to be true then it probably ( certainly) is.

That seems fairly conclusive Malcolm but these Scams are not just restricted to sites such as Craigslist. Well worth members spending five minutes viewing the "Scams" section link contained within the advert. As an example, I have a French Bank Cheque for £3600 to cover cost of goods and shipping cost. Needless to say, I still have the goods and the Cheque, which will never be cashed.
