FENDER D8 LAP STEEL STOLEN!!

Hi all.
A week ago the swing commanders band van was stolen and along with it around 15k worth of gear. Including my Fender D8 purchased from your very own Alan Cook.
At the moment the only idea we have is that it is around the clitheroe, blackburn or accrington way.
It is a sort of house brick red colour. in a hard case with legs. 2 steel bars including one that was given to me by an 80yr old steel player in texas and has his initials B.B. scraped in the bottom of it.
i will try and dig out some photos but if any one thinks they come across it please please get in touch.

That's real bad news 
it is bound to surface sometime and enough of us have seen it from Alan's pics if it comes down south I reckon it will be found, there are so few of them out there it can be of little use to whoever stole it.
We had a Merc van broken into at a Liverpool travel lodge and twice at the Beck theatre Hayes they mostly grab what they can carry, we lost one guitar, a laptop and CD's belonging to one of the girl singers.

Oh no! That sucks.
At least it's a distinctive colour and when it turns up anywhere we'll remember it for sure.
