D10 CARTER FOR TRADE

If anyone on the BSS has heard mr Bob Dixon play his blue Carter D10 then you know how good it sounds,Well i have it and it is a real nice steel,But i would like to trade it in a PX for a SD10 or a universal,this steel plays great and has a great tone,case is also good.Reason for parting with this great steel is i don`t need the C6th neck,and i need something a bit lighter.
I also have a Peavey LA 400 with a 12 inch Black widow speaker ,the amp has a problem powers up ok but distorts,i would let it go for £80 as it is,os sell the speaker for £60.

Just to say Bob rang me this morning to ask if i would let him have his old blue Carter back because he said he had got so used to the feel and sound after playing it for years ,so i am returning it back to him tomorrow,and getting my original newer mint black Carter back,and that will be up for a trade as before..

No more GENUINE interest in a trade for this great steel,so i will leave it until after the easter break,and if stiil no more interest i will end the for sale listing ..

Jimmy, the the blue Carter originally belonged to Cyril Lewis in Jersey. He bought it new from Carter and I bought it from him when it was 13months old. I couldn't get on with it and swapped it for a Carter U12. I still have the original receipt for it buried in a box somewhere with Cyril's original setup. Dave.

I have been giving it a lot of thought and have deccided not to buy another steel but, to part with this really nice mint D10 in a PX for a decent SD10 or a universal,This steel is a real beauty,loaded with True Tone pick ups,plays great, sounds fantastic and the tuning is rock steady.Just to make it clear i will only part with this steel in a PX .
