Having screwed up at least two of them as the power lead finds its way under the leg of the pack-a-seat I now carry at least one or two spares.

I also got fed up with either chopping through the thin cable, or the cable failing where it leaves the adapter.
So I bought a little box from Maplins, fitted the Hilton adapter in it, cut in a normal euro mains socket (always have a spare one of those in someones kit at a gig) then cut in a military type socket both into the box and the pedal, therefore leaving me able to use a good thick reinforced power lead.
Just for good measure I added a neon bulb just so I could look down and check it was on.

Nice one Dave looks like a proper job but for me a spare in the seat takes up a tiny bit of room and I am covered if my P/s goes down. If anyone wants to copy Dave's example, I may have a couple with damaged leads that would serve as I assume you would cut the lead anyway to make the connections?
