You may well have seen this guitar advertised some time ago. viewtopic.php?f=40&t=8070 well I bought it and when i got home and started work on it I just could not believe it. The top side was fine but underneath was a nightmare. Everything was completely lacquered in a thick coat of a nicotine and (I presume) WD40 cocktail. 4 of the changers were completely seized and the others weren't much better. 3 days soaked in petrol to get them freed. Here's some pics to give you an idea, in fact the pictures make it look better than it actually was. The next bit is to show what it looks like now with a complete clean up new springs and new pedal rack and even reshaped the pedals for ease of playing.

Hey Donny, say hello to Tony for me at your next meeting, hope he's getting on ok with his newly acquired MCI. It was a long journey but he seemed happy enough except for his exhaust going bang on his new motor.

He never told me where he got it, sounds good though. Need to leave us a sound bite. Hopefully he'll turn up at this months meeting, I'll pass on your regards. Donny.

Ok here's a little taster of what it sounds like, the best I can do with limited equipment. If anyone is interested I'm prepared to do a PX for an MSA Red Baron or Sidekick or ProAm or a simolar type guitar. I have to say the legs are short so if your over 5' 8" it's no good to you unless you get a lifter kit and also the legs, although not too bad could maybe do with a re-chrome.
