Hi folks, we're looking for a new double bass player for our band. We're SW based and play rock n roll/rockabilly/jump jive/rhythm n blues band (I play sax and lap steel in the band). We play mostly our own original tracks and are signed to a good label with a new CD coming out early next year. Regular work with decent pay (£100/night). The current db player has got tired of being away every week up and down the motorway so we're looking for someone who doesn't mind being on the road. May be able to share with someone if they prefer so they're not away every week. We also have a 7 piece western swing band so there is a chance for some dep work there too. If anyone knows of anyone who might be interested, please can you let them know? Thanks, Ruby.

Hi Ruby, i used to play slap bass years ago, havent played for years but if ya get realy stuck and its localish im sure i can get my hands on a bass?...by the way ive put this on my facebook page as theres quite afew bass players on my freinds list
