Steel Player available Ireland (west)

Postby davidclancy » Tue Sep 23, 2014 1:13 pm

Haven't posted here in a while. Hope everyone is doing good. Looking forward to the steel festival in Dublin in October. My Steel gigs have completely dried up in the last year. I'm going through a heavy practicing period and really enjoying it , as I've no day job at the moment. Looking for a regular gig, so if anyone is reading this and needs a steel player, Id be more than delighted. Dont mind travelling either. Gonna put some youtube clips up of my playing in the nxt few days.

Hi there,
I hope you are still available....:))
I'm looking for a one or two man band to play for an hour at our wedding in Powerscourt Hotel, Co.Wicklow on Saturday July 8th this year.
I'm originally Irish (from Mayo) and a lot of family and friends attending are big Nashville fans. We have a 16piece brass band playing for 2hrs from 9pm but I was hoping to have the country music before or worst case scenario upon guest arrival at reception just after the serious ceremony, to liven things up a little. Or am open to suggestions from you. My fiancé is from the US and a lot of country music fans also from there..Please help... My parents are elderly and love this music and I really want them to enjoy. Would you be able to give me a call or text about this? Any chance you would be able to play?
I also have an Irish number 0863706230. I'm really anxious to find someone to do this and want to make sure my parents and other older generation also enjoy. I actually love Steel Pedal Guitar and am a big Logue & McCool fan.. I don't know where else to ask for help and have registered on this site to find someone as we live in London. I look forward to hearing from you or anyone who can help.
Sincerely,
Amanda.
