Hi Guys
I'm playing with (???) Sarah Gayle Meech on her mini UK tour starting tonight in Southport. tomorrow Leicester, Tuesday near Wakefield, Wednesday Liverpool, Thursday Heywood Lancs.
She has loads of you tube vids and is on face book and has a gig guide to find the addresses.
It's a 4 piece band, with the superb Simon Brady on lead and mandolin, No rehearsal, so seat of the pants stuff......yeah.

That lady is used to some good stuff behind her

There aren't, alas, any in the North East, It was a hastily put together small promo tour,,,,,,, especially to make John Davis jealous....heh...heh...Heh......John, you wouldn't believe what happened last night with Sarah in Southport........a guy sold me 18 pedal steels for £300, asked me if I could drive his 25 year old blond daughter home and said the last time he was down in the Cambridgeshire area he was approached by a suspicious character with a haversack on his back trying to sell him some rusty strings.....!!!!!!!
My oh my, what a marvellous life when you're a 35 year old steel player in the UK........

Just like to say what a great gig that was last night with Baz on the steel. Sarah was very professional and some of the sounds from the band were beautiful and very authentic
