Yes Dave I have been doing solo gigs for years using backing tracks, and I make all my own tracks. I play country, rock & roll motr swing and loads of old standards.
Just to add this is a country Music weekend, so it will be mostly country.
Jimmy.

Update on my afternoon gig, arrived 10.45 ,was directed to reception ,was informed I would be playing outside on a balcony I thought great it was a beautiful sunny day, drove to the rear of the building then the bad news the balcony that I was to set up on was on the other side of the building , the carry was up a passage way through the kitchen through one restaurant up two flights of stairs through another restaurant onto the balcony but it did not stop there the contract stated there was a Boss PA System that I could use but there was not,so It was a good job I had brought mine, anyway the gear was brought up for me because I said I could not hump all my gear all that way by myself.
I set up my PA my steel ect in time to start at 12 noon. Started playing then to my shock there was a disco just beneath me playing at the same time.so you can imagine the fun and games I had trying to compete with the moron on the Disco. So I just played to myself got paid and got my gear taken down and was glad that was over, NEVER AGAIN.
I have done a few badly organized gigs but this one takes the cake,
Jimmy.
