Blind River Scare in Caerleon

Friday night, we played in Newport on the same bill as the Redlands Palomino Company—with the ever excellent Dave Rothon on steel—and Leeroy Stagger, who played a blinder. Yesterday, we were down in Somerset at the festival in Pitney Village. That was the hottest gig I have ever played. Not my playing, but the temperature on stage. It was easily in the mid-30s. I thought the bar was going to slip out of my hand
