Friday night, we played in Newport on the same bill as the Redlands Palomino Company—with the ever excellent Dave Rothon on steel—and Leeroy Stagger, who played a blinder. Yesterday, we were down in Somerset at the festival in Pitney Village. That was the hottest gig I have ever played. Not my playing, but the temperature on stage. It was easily in the mid-30s.
