Hi Everyone
I'll be playing my steel guitar with Mary Jean Lewis (niece of Jerry Lee Lewis!) in Blackfriars in Glasgow's Merchant City on Sunday 26th February - Free Entry! ....2 sets from 9pm!
....and again on Saturday 3rd March at the Woodend Bowling Club, Jordanhill as part of Sounds in the Suburbs....
Alongside, we have 'provocative' double bass, 'zinging' lead guitar and Herself - who needs drums!
It would be lovely to see any of you there
Tim

Had a very enjoable evening at Blackfriars listening to Mary Jean and Her band,
Tim played some real nice steel and six string guitar.
The band were excellent and nice to see and hear a stand up bass. Mary Jean Lewis did not try to promote Herself as Daughter of Linda Gail or Her Uncle jerry Lee Lewis She did things Her way, tremendous voice and stage presence. The band were very well rehearsed and played all the stuff I love.
Hope to see them again soon.

Thanks for coming along last night - it was great to meet you and many thanks too for the kind words (and the pint of Shropshire Gold!)
......MJ is a great singer and it's a real treat playing with her. I plan to drop in at the Bay Horse to hear that Zum once you're back from Dallas - have a great time!
We're on again this coming Saturday (3rd March), so anyone at a loose end please stop by at The Woodend Bowling Club in Jordanhill and take a listen. It all kicks off at around 8pm....

Had a double gig night out last night with Bob Adams, went to Glasgows Grand Ole Opry to see the the first set by the City Sinners, Really good stuff, and a good sound from Malcolm on the MSA. We then nipped across town to Woodend Bowling club to see MJ Lewis, managed to catch her full set,and have to concur with everything old Zumbilly already reported. Well done to Tim on his 19 string keyless Sierra, great stuff.
