Sound like one of those scary gigs that you can't wait to be a part off. I can feel my envy beginning to show. Be blessed Eddie. Regards, Alan.

What a great night, still buzzing, A wonderful Concert took place last night, a fantastic backing band, lead guitar, keyboards, drums and bass guitar/double bass, all from Ireland, except for the Steel player, Jamie Lennon, who has been out in Nashville with Georgette Jones, since they met up two years ago in Ireland, they are soon to be Married, and you couldnt meet a nicer couple, I had a good chat with Jamie about all things Steel, the Concert was fantastic, Jamie is an awesome steel player, after the concert, I played a 2 1/2 hour dance set with the Jesse Conlon band, and we had some of Irelands best talent up singing with us, Lisa Stanley, Mick Flavin, Gloria, Louise Morrisey, and i was very happy to play Lead guitar along with Jamie, who played a good half with us, the highlight when Georgette came up and done a great version of her Mother Tammy's 'Stand by your man'
Jamie plays a Franklin Steel through a Peavey Nashville 112, his favourite combo, but was happy to play my Carter, as he previously owned a similar one, he got some fantastic sounds out of my steel, sounds that i certainly dont get out of it, but when i did play steel, as he sat and watched, i didn;t feel intimidated, in fact i feel i played quite well, all in all, it was just a great night, and pleased that everything went well in front of a packed house at a great venue,

Good on you Eddie, sound like a great night. Just seeing Mick Flavin would have made my night apart from all those other artists. Have you any videos cuts for us?

No video to my knowledge, Roy, yeah your right, Mick Flavin is a class act, one of the highlights being, when he joined Georgette on stage, and they did a great version of Tammy and George's 'Golden Ring' pure class,
