Feeling a bit like I’ve got on a rollercoaster and the clamp thing has come down and there’s no going back! I’ve committed to playing some tracks from my album in a chapel in Edinburgh. Might not need all the reverb pedals…….

Fantastic Calum!
Kilt, silver cape and a sorcerer's hat? It worked for Moondog.

Apologies for any concern.
I'm sure Calum, being an upstanding highlander, would don 'The Monarch', thus sparing the discomforture of the fainthearted amidst the audience, no horses need be frightened.

Hi Donny
I think all gigs are now ‘special occasions’ due to extreme rarity. But nothing special really, just an excuse to try this stuff out with an audience. The album is actually already sort of a ‘live’ album as it was more or less live stereo recordings but fairly heavily edited to remove the undesirable bits.
Cheers
Calum

I rather like the idea of a band called Smackvan playing in a church! The tradition of swinging vicars lives on, but a bit more hardcore!!

That aside: I hope you're going to video this gig and share it with the world. I'd video it myself if I were a bit more local.
