Zumbilly pulls it off

Postby Donny Johnston » Sun Jul 03, 2011 7:26 am

After writing that headline I thought there's something not quite right about that. Went to see our Billy at the Star Bar in Glasgow last night, really enjoyed the evening, the company was well, OK, Bob Adams, turned up, and pleased to say, Billy McKillop was there looking well. A good night was had by all.

Ha!! I went with the specific task of getting you (Billy) on video as we see little of you and what happened!
You were Highjacked!! by the Steel Hand Gang!
Ah well it was a fun night was it not! Yip! Enjoyed a little pull at that Strat of yours! ;)
Good music all round and great to meet Billy McKillop at last, we are known to each other but had never met.
Also good to see the lovely Ann (Mrs ‘M’) grace the dance floor!
We really must try and get a Scottish Steelies bash together sometime!Where does the time go???
We keep talking about it but never getting there; we must try and sort something out!

Having read about your get together at Billy's gig, 4 steelies? am i right? sounds like you already had your first scottish steelies bash, just got me thinking? if, as you say, you were thinking of putting something together, im sure that crew from NISGA would support you, just over the water, and i would, i work at the airport here in knock, and could get a handy flight over, and remember my friend Joe lives in Scotland, and my best mate, Jimmy smythe from Manchester, would be there like a shot, any excuse for a booze, dont know about them sassenachs tho, you would have to make provision for the chippy's not to put the meat pies into the deep fat fryer, that might help, think about it, i think a scottish steelies festival would be a real wow,
