Billy, I get the impression that the Norwegian Festival was the main event, and the others added to pad it out by some well meaning individual. The original idea was for Ricky to use one of Dag Wolfs many Zums in Norway, making it so much easier flying wise, but then it started to get complicated.
Eddie my flight was into Glasgow with KLM, and although I had left many years earlier, I recognised the particular handler, and went immediately to his boss who happened to be a friend of mine, suffice to say I don't think the rest of his day was very good.

and quite rightly so, Malcolm, no excuses for that, John, that sounds like a Sopwith Camel you came in on, was that pre war? the only prop flight now from Knock is, Funnily enough, The Shetlands, well i hope the tour and particulary the Norway festival goes really well for Ricky,

Hi Guys
A bit more information re the Miss Leslie and Ricky Davis gig.
The show is pay on the door (£5) The guy to ring is Bernie Birch on 07711728541. The club is a listening club and holds about 130.
I must say a big thank you to John Davis for arranging a steel for Ricky to play and to Ron Bennett for collecting it.
Cheers

Hi Guys
I've just received an E-mail to tell me that, due to unforseen circumstances, Ricky Davis will not be able to accompany Miss Leslie on her trip over here next week (Friday). It's a real shame as he's a great player, and I for one, was looking forward to meeting him and watching him play. I have the formidable task of replacing him for the two shows they were going to play here in the northwest, (the second show is a private function). I'm hoping to augment the band with a lead player to lighten the load a bit. .... :guitar:
Cheers
