Down in Cornwall (St Ives/Penzance) from Saturday for a week, anyone playing down there?

This is very sad Malcolm.I thought Liverpool was bad.I cant believe that there is no one playing in Cornwall.This a far cry when all the country bands in Liverpool used to tour every summer there.Happy days!!

Hi Ray, no great surprise,nearest steelie I know down that area is Jimmy Gibson, but believe he is up the top end of the county,will just have to spend my money on other things like flying. There is just no work going, try getting bookings for a six piece band and getting told we've got a guy who comes in and sings with backing tracks for £100 and sounds like a twenty piece orchestra, sad days indeed.Regards Malcolm
