Dear Friends, I'd just like to mention that last thursday March 9th 2017,I had my 19th year M.O.T. on my transplanted heart. It was 19 years to the day I got the phone call that told me I had a doner. If you haven't already thought about it, please carry a donor card. I was lucky, but many pass away because of no donor cards been obtained by the individual. Now I can get back to some serious practising. There always is some nervousness going for a heart M.O.T. One wonders that one would fail the various test they do to us. The blood test takes 24 hours to be sorted, but all they do is sometimes alter our medication......I think i'll have another glass of wine now....just to get over the damn M25 scenario Lol :) .... take care from Micky "scars" Byrne....or uniman :D

Micky - you are a real inspiration to those of us of the same generation. I just hope that if there is an afterlife you get dealt a better hand in the luck stakes mate.
