I actually left £5.00 as a deposit on a Fender Student in July 1979, That news paper clipping should have said (deposit taken) against the Fender Student ! I was down in London for an interview with United States Lines, I got the job but never went back for the steel. Maybe I could claim my deposit back in the form of a few sets of strings (for the E9th of course) :-0)
