Jessy Kent being a Scot's woman never let anyone in the band get too close to her, but I beleive this was because she needed compleat controle of the band, but because she worked for Mervyn she was on top of the booking's and we had some good work from her.
Our first tour was with Rose Maddox, a brill lady that got us working together as a show band, and we learned a lot, then came the Tex Ritter tour, and boy was that an experience, a great one, never to be forgotten.
She suited us up, got all the festivals, and never let us go front stage untill after the show, she new the way to go, but a little bossy at times, and after a gig it would be out the front to signe autographs.
She dissapeared off the scene sometime after the festivals finished, and the word I got was that her perent had passed away and left her a few bob, and she had gone to one of the eauropean countrys like Lithawania and opend an orphanage which is one big change in direction, but power to her if that's what she did.
Anyone know different, let us know.
