Just stumbled across this on Bob's site, where did that time go .......

Yes JD, all of us that were in that hall that day were 10 years younger than we are today
But you did put on a good event.

Very happy days John, would that we could turn the clock back. Even the audience, The Heaps, Ron & Margaret, Ted & Ivor to name a few!

Being behind the camera, it always made me smile when Eithne stuck her head out the kitchen hatch when somebody played some blinding steel!

David H & Big John S, Mark D, Mr Thurlby & Mr Kirk, Richard Burton, the two Jims and all the young guys eager to get on the pedals, Mr Park and co!!

Memories of sitting on the grass chatting with Eric Snowball (from where it all started) probably the most he had ever talked!!

Does somebody have the will and energy to keep it all going! .... I do hope so!

Hats off to you JD these events are (were) an effort and not everybody will acknowledge the appreciation, I certainly do!

But as they say in the supermarket. When their gone..... their gone.!!!

It's somebody's call...... who will it be???
