That's a beauty John :guitar: :D
Was this once DH's guitar or is it a model based on his setup?
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

It is the model that was made for him and set up the same way, Designed by Mr.Rains Built by Gary Carpenter it does not get better than this unless its an Emmons "Bolt on" but they are rare as Hen's teeth as is becoming the "Hartley Raines"

Thank you Nick, now waddaya think I should do with this one ??

Is this the "Keeper" I have been looking for? It surpasses my push pull Emmons in so many ways with the feel and accuracy of the mechanics, the solid feel of the stops and it has the split tuning' s
All it lacks is the soul of the Emmons....Transplant? I wonder

You can't keep 'em all, John and you can only play 'em one at a time.
If I was shopping for a psg, I'd say that the last Rains you had (which you also said was a keeper!), the S10 Emmons you showed recently and this Rains are fantastic guitars I would have been happy to buy. I went the 'expensive' route (when you add import tax) and had Bent Romnes build a lovely guitar for me. If I were shopping for a high quality steel, I'd go for this one (unless one of either of the other two mentioned were available).
But I'm not shopping, so anyone with their finger on the trigger, should get in while they can!

You are right there Nick, looks like this one is already on the move and the import alone on it was over 600...... But I can't help thinking how nice it would be with the "Day" set up and if/when I part with it..... could take a bottle of Jack's ol number 7 and a week to get over it :o :( It is the best built guitar I have ever come across.
