A great mod for the Emmons push pull

Here is a pic of a modified bell crank (designed by a friend of mine in the USA) for an Emmons push pull (the one on the right - the one on the left is the standard bell crank. The modification means that the bell crank can be attached straight onto a round cross shaft. That is, unlike the original ones. I have some additional raises and lowers to go on my guitar, and these modified pullers are just the job to make the task easier. I have a load heading my way and can't wait to get my grubby mitts on them. :D

I presume they are the pullers designed by Clem.

I have a few in my Emmons "spare parts tin" and one on my Uni 12 string.

Clem has some very clever ideas re the Emmons original.

Yes David, they come from Clem.

Clem has a very radical thought process when it comes to overcoming hurdles with steel guitars, particularly the Emmons push pull. I've been buying from him for many years now, and he is a really nice guy. He has sent me loads of DVDs and CDs of live steel guitar shows that he has taken over the years. I had a problem getting my 2nd string on my E9 neck to raise a semitone and lower a full tone. He talked me through it in 5 minutes.

Yes indeed Ken, I've also found him very generous over the years by way of sending DVDs etc.
