Tasty little Emmons!

Garry at Promenade Music contacted me the other week to ask for a little help on an Emmons.
It started life as a C6th with 2 levers it is now an E9th standard 3x4 with new replica levers and a face lifted body, and board. When he contacted me he was thinking of making this his guitar but who knows he may be open to offers! Looks amazing and sounds real crisp! I'm sure he won't mind me putting this on here regardless of where this baby finally resides!
Thought it worthy of a glance!

Dual tap on the pick-up Danny, thin and thick voicings!
Didn't put the meter on them but I reckon somewhere between 10 and 18 ............ Both nice as required!

Very nice Bob, with those tuners and pedals I reckon that would be late 70's or early 80's. Baz Weston has one very much like it that started out as a C6th Gordon helped me change it around to E9th great sounding guitar.

Very nice Bob. IMHO the single 10 push pulls always have a lot of twang. Never heard a bad one yet, whereas D10's can be a bit hit and miss. That is a sharp looking guitar and would be ideal for gigs.

Great concept Bob. Wonder why that idea never stuck around. Cost?

Agree with Ken on this one. The best sounding Emmons I ever played was a single 10.
Funnily enough the best sounding Sho-Bud was a single 10 as well.
Only my personal view.
