I have the live albums from these sessions, and these 2 monster players keep each other on the top of their game. I love their Harlem Nocturne. Gatton is one of the best Tele players of all time, and Buddy just rips it up on his Emmons. I read somewhere that Danny Gatton invited Buddy to jam with his band, and before the gig some of the band members were a bit sniffy about having a Nashville steel player in the fold. Buddy just blew them away with his Charlie Parker jazzy lines and Oscar Peterson-type chords.
Show Pro D10 (amber) 8 + 6, MSA Signature XL D10 (redburst) 9 + 6, Sho~Bud D10 (sunburst) Pro 111 8 + 6, Emmons D10 Push Pull - (black) 8+5, Zumsteel D10 (blue) 8 + 8, Hudson pedal resonator, 10 string lap steel. Telonics, Peavey & Webb amps,
