Un homage to Mr D

Postby saddletramp » Sun Dec 02, 2012 11:16 am

I have been greatly influenced by the wonderful David Lindley for many many years. His taste and tone in lap steel playing have been a real inspiration. This is my humble tribute to the great man: The Mysterious Mr D.

Thanks, Uncle Roy. You can probably tell I'm a bit more confident with the dobro playing than with the pedal steel. I've been playing dobro on and off for about 20 years, whereas I've only clocked about 18 months up on the steel. Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to listen.

Hey Chris, very nice playing. I'm with Roy on the Valley Line. reminds me of Chris Hilman/ Herb Pedersen. I'm a sucker for harmony. You can certainly craft a song, yep, I'm in! All the best ------- Baz. :guitar: :guitar:

Cheers, Baz. I'm a huge fan of Chris HIllman and Herb Pedersen, so that's a really flattering compliment. Thanks. :D
